Cops always take pix of the crime scene, the deceased and of the survivor and injuries before he/she are allowed to change into clean clothes and clothes worn during the crime are turned over for evidence.......

You know this how? Because you heard it on the news? Or from some other talking head? Have you seen the police report or are you going off what the Zimmerman's family lawyer said? The kid's been dead a month now. It often takes longer than that to get ballistic reports back. Sorry to say, real police work isn't like CSI. These things take time to be done properly.
