Gee, I wonder why every major newspaper in the USA says that F9/11 has more holes than swiss cheese, not excluding the 911 commission. Being a Brit, Brit, you should be quite aware of the consequences of falsely accusing someone in Great Britain, but then again I can't remember ever reading you beating up on your own government.

I think you only have to get permission if you show their face. So a pan shot of a stadium wouldn't count. If Moore would have blurred out the faces of the people he filmed, he probabably could get away with filming them without permission... as long as they were not identified. Not exactly sure though... just my educated guess from watching t.v. and news, etc...

The family of Maj. Stone sure don't seem to think the footage of his funeral is public domain:

I have. I'm trying to remember that part that had that guys funeral in it? Or is this the same family that claims that whilst it wasn't the ACTUAL funeral they recognized the flag on the coffin as his?

..she has no legal recourse to be made about showing her fiance's coffin then...

And again, it depends where that footage came from, if it was from a newscast then no permission is required as it would have been in the public domain....

BTW, did you see the movie? I'm curious
