No... Fox News is just now starting to compete with CBS Broadcast Media... but is still far far far behind ABC and NBC because they are free broadcasts and a person must have cable or satellite to receive Fox News. The potential viewership due to the medium is far less for Fox News, yet they still do amazingly well. They do however crush their liberal competitors CNN and MSNBC.

Most media and major magazines and papers have a liberal slant. Its obvious. From Time to the NYTimes to Entertainment Weekly. Both major papers in south Florida are left slanted. You have to go to Palm Beach to find a paper thats closer to the middle.

For those that can't see the bias, whats it like with your head in the sand? Fox and MSNBC are the most obvious offenders of bias, but at least FOXs actual news shows are fair. compared to MSNBC which is full of total whackjobs. They don't even try to hide it. The pundits on FOX are opinion shows and are obviously to the right. But the actual news on Fox is quite fair, compared to the big 3. NBC is the worst offender. They tossed the last shred of credibility out the window in 08 during the election. All the media showed their cards with their coverage. The studies are out there. Most media went out of their way to paint Obama in a positive light. Obama simply had more positive stories and was on the covers far more. He was a clean slate to be painted in whatever light they wanted. It was really was the death of honest journalism. So sad.

Yeah, just a conspiracy theory. Well here is a conspiracy theory for you:

"Look Bernie(Goldberg), of course there is a liberal bias in the news. All the networks tilt left. Come on, we all know it - the whole (*)(*)(*)(*) world knows it - but that doesn't mean we have to put it on the air." --- Andrew Heyward, former President of CBS News.

Most intelligent Americans understand the media has a general liberal bias. This is not new. Fox News is only "fair and balanced" due to the overwhelming amount of liberal news reporting. Still, it is biased, but then again, all news commentary is to some extent.
