Yep and a gag order will soon follow. Much of the disinformation can be found right here in these very forums.

I haven't seen any facebook pages like that, but I haven't looked for them either.

George Zimmerman's defense attorney has established a new website, Facebook and Twitter accounts to provide details about the high-profile, controversial case.

On gzlegalcase.com, attorney Mark O'Mara acknowledges that it is "unusual for a legal defense to maintain a social media presence on behalf of a defendant, but we also acknowledge that this is a very unusual case."

I think it is a smart move and also helps keep people from being fleeced.

On the twitter feed, someone forwarded this bogus donation site. http://savegeorgezimmerman.tumblr.com/ which does not point to the official site and was verified by the legal team via twitter.

They are likely doing it in an effort to get paid for providing his defense. He cannot afford it. His family reportedly can't. So if you can get people to donate you may get paid.

He did have 200,000 grand until he had to spend 54000 on "living" expenses. LMAO

I agree it is odd, it is certainly not conventional legal maneuvering, like when he gave an apology. That is never done by a defense team.
