Group hug please on this Memorial Day! I must be getting soft in these older years, but I'm willing to include any and all anti/un Americans and those with leftist ideologies who would otherwise bash our military to join hands and hugs with all Americans. Can't we all just get along if for only one day?

Usually topics on this forum degrade into nationalastic silliness. But remembering young kids who naively gave their lives for wars they did not understand. Should be remembered irraspective of belief. There is a monument near me, of several young men laying down their life in world war 1. To when i pass I feel some what saddned by the sacrifrice they gave.
So yes, honour all military. All the young who should have been protected instead of used as pawns.
