The Hatfields and McCoys would have resolved this particular murder months ago.
BTW, what's with the hold-up in starting the trial? Are they waiting for Z to die from old age?

The only time I was in a fist fight was when I was about 13.. My best friend called another girl a dirty Leb.. wherupon they went at it.. I tried to break it up and BOTH Lebanese sisters kicked my ass.
Ah the memories. My dad came home from work in the nick of time and picked me up out of the street. I was banged up all over.
Reminds me of a guy at Junior High on my first day of school in a new town. A kid roughly brushed up against me and I pushed him off and he came at my like gangbusters and completely surprised me. I fell back, right into a teachers arms. We both ended up in the principles office but I was dismissed. Turns out the other guy was a trouble maker and ended up years later getting shot in a robbery.
The gun control crusade today is like the Prohibition crusade 100 years ago. It is a shared zealotry that binds the self-righteous know-it-alls in a warm fellowship of those who see themselves as fighting on the side of the angels against the forces of evil. It is a lofty role that they are not about to give up for anything so mundane as facts-- or even the lives of other people. ~ Thomas Sowell
