Obama was counting on a lot of Green jobs to help this economy, but China had a way of changing all that.

Obama's ratings sink on economic doubts
    By John Whitesides
    WASHINGTON | Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:01pm EDT

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama's approval ratings have dipped to their lowest level since January on deep economic worries, wiping out most of his lead in the White House race over Republican rival Mitt Romney, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed on Tuesday.

The percentage of Americans who approve of Obama's job performance dropped from 50 a month ago to 47, matching his mark in early January. The number who think the country is on the wrong track rose 6 percentage points in a month to 63 percent.

The doubts about Obama's leadership helped Romney pull to within 1 point of the Democratic president in the White House race - 45 percent to 44 percent - among registered voters with less than five months to go before the November 6 election. Obama led by 7 points a month ago.

The poll was mostly taken after Obama suffered several recent campaign setbacks, including a weak jobs report in May and an optimistic comment on the good health of the private sector that critics say showed he was out of touch...

Obama's approval ratings took their biggest dip among independent voters, who could be crucial to the ultimate outcome of the election in November. Approval for Obama among independents fell from 48 percent to 35 percent.

NEW YORK - U.S. corporations are picking up the pace in shifting well-paid technology jobs to India, China and other low-cost centers, but they are keeping quiet for fear of a backlash, industry professionals said.

The problem is that companies aren't sure if it's politically correct to talk about it. Nobody has come up with a way to spin it in a positive way.

    Jack Trout
Morgan Stanley estimates the number of U.S. jobs outsourced to India will double to about 150,000 in the next three years. Analysts predict as many as two million U.S. white-collar jobs such as programmers, software engineers and applications designers will shift to low cost centers by 2014.

But the biggest companies looking to "offshoring" to cut costs, such as Microsoft Corp. , International Business Machines Corp. and AT&T Wireless, are reluctant to attract attention for political reasons, observers said this week.

Yes....you are correct that many things were already in place that hurt our economy before Bush took office. By saying that "I would agree that the Bush administration and Congress at that time is mostly responsible for the economy's downturn" was my way of throwing the "blamers" a bone. In reality, I do not care who is responsible for the bad economy, other then to study why it collapse so we do not repeat history. However, I do care about who is responsible for fixing the economy and the methods (or in this case, lack thereof) they go about in order to fix it.

In a years time, the economy should start seeing the effects of a USEFUL stimulus package. Why Obama's did little is because he wasted the money of things that had little impact. The most effective use of Federal stimulus is infrastructure spending. Obama's stimulus only spent 3% of the money on stimulus. Obama considers "green technology" as infrastructure spending....and industry that was not prepared to come on line and instantly help the economy.

All in all, the legitimate infrastructure spending, which in its expanded form would include Obama's ambitious plans to invest heavily in renewable energy sources, will most likely not start coming on line until the fourth quarter of the year and its full effect is at least 12 to 18 months away. In other words, the fiscal stimulus measures that the incoming Administration will be pushing through are more a 2010 story

    ok, so whats the plan?

Bush is believed to have created the mess. So whats the plan?

How are we going to get the economy moving again?

How are we going to get our AAA credit rating back? (the one that Obama inherited)

How are we going to get $1.80/gal Gasoline back? (the average price Obama inherited)

How are we going to get back to at least $9 Trillion debt(the debt Obama inherited) instead of the $16 Trillion we have today?
