The point of repealing DADT was to ensure homosexual troops could reveal their preference without fear of reprisal. That's it. What you're talking about is discrimination, and that is something any troops (of any preference) can attempt to combat on their own via the resources at their disposal.
If you can prove that you're being discriminated or targeted, you use the appropriate venues to put a stop to it. Pride events & parades are better left for civilians... the military pushes service before self, and other core values that present a sense of one holistic unit vs. a conglomerate of individuals with individual issues.
Were blacks told to hide their color so they could enlist? Were blacks kicked out when it was revealed they were not white?
