It really makes one wonder what your definition of conservatism is if you consider Obama to be an "old school conservative". I suspect you live in a realm of striking cognitive dissonance.
No, it's very simple...I'm a fiscal conservative, and a social libertarian

I'm a fiscal conservative, which means I think we should spend less money on just about everything including the military, social security, government worker benefits, public assistance, and medicare.....and a whole ot more

As a social libertarian, I think there should be no laws preventing drug use, abortion, gay marriage, riding without a helmet, driving without car inusrance, or living without healthcare insurance.....and a whole more

Us waffley independents know that you Republicans are FULL OF (*)(*)(*)(*). You guys do the same liberty-robbing BS that the Democrats do, and villify anyone who says that they want real freedom.

    (*)(*)(*)(*) on it.

Romney had health care in Massachusetts and you think because he "promises to repeal it" that he will? Look at his record, not his lips. He's a freakin' politician.

If you were a 16 year old girl you'd be pregnant by now.

They want to believe that because they're desperate to believe in something. They were bamboozled by their own party. First they get the Patriot Act, now Roberts gives them the ability for the IRS to peek into their panties.

And Mitt "Romneycare" former Mass governor is the savior? HAHAHAHAHAHA

    Give me a break.

None of which explains your steadfast support of Obama and his policies, nor your obvious contempt for anything related to the right-wing.

Time to be honest with yourself.

That is hard to say...The government made one case to the public, a case almost entirely made of lies...even lying, they still have a public that hates the scheme...If the decision was political, it would have been one to kill the mess. When you read the opinion, the court rejected most of the governments case and once having rejected them, change a crucial parameter, turned a commerce clause penalty into a tax...making the unconstitutional constitutional, but making Obama a liar...Is that political?

If they were acting politically, they could have pretended the Medicaid threat of force against the states was legal, they didn't.

Right now we have chaos...we will continue with chaos and wasted money until the election.

The bottom line, an overwhelming majority hates this, the lefts base loves it as they do not expect to pay for it, and November will tell all..

I figure, today, this decision added a couple of points to the Romney vote, and perhaps a senate seat or so. It also almost guarantees an increase in house seats for the right.

I only have contempt for the "so called conservative" media, and what they've done to the Republican Party.

The "so called conservative" media is not the right wing, they are Christian social fundamentalists, who spend like Democrats

Again, you avoid the issue of your support of Obama and his policies, and your insistence that Obama is not a liberal, but a conservative.

The Republicans were once much more liberal. You should stop calling yourself an old school conservative and switch to old school Republican. That would make more sense.
