This interview confirms my view that Obama is a pseudo-Marxist. Productivity gains causing unemployment is a Marxist argument. Like all the other Marxist arguments, it fails to see anything besides what happens to specific workers in the “proletariat.”

In the mind of Barack Obama, our free market system and our values of personal responsibility and hard work are the "oppressors" of workers in the “proletariat.” Obama clearly believes in the philosophy of "from each according to his ability; to each according to his need." In other words, the "producers" in our society must care for and support the "non-producers" in our society.

Progressive liberal ideologies and agendas hold Marx's theories on pedestals.

They will never proclaim to intiate or support policy based on Marx's teachings, because they know how unpopular that would be among the independents, but one look at their policy making history and their comments make it clear who's philosophy they follow.
