Default The Target of Bachmann's WitchHunt Gets Security Detail After Being Threatened

Another prime example of the dangers of inflammatory, baseless accusations and neo McCarthyism. In case you hadn't already heard of this story, Michelle Bachmann and 3 other GOP House Members have accused Huma Abedin, Hilary Clinton aide and Wife of former congressman Anthony Weiner, of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Keep in mind, there is no substantial evidence to this claim, Bachmann has stated that Abedin's late Father and Mother were involved in the Muslim Brotherhood (and 'Sisterhood'), but she can't "prove it" because those bastards in government won't let her access personal files.

I think Jon Stewart summed it up best:

"Oh my god, it's the perfect cover! An America-hating, Muslim extremist gets a high-profile, stringent background-check job with a former First Lady, marries a pro-Israel Jewish guy and begins producing Muslim-Zionist terror baby armies. Has 9/11 taught us nothing, people?"

Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton whose targeting by Michele Bachmann in a State Department letter caused a national firestorm last week, is being given security after a Muslim New Jersey man threatened her, according to the New York Post.

The Post reports that police and federal officials are giving Abedin adequate security after the incident. The man was questioned by both the NYPD and the State Department, but has so far not actually been charged with anything.

Last week, Senator John McCain spoke in the Senate chamber in defense of Abedin against the letter Bachmann and four other members of Congress sent to the State Department, in which they accused Abedin of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Other Republicans, including former Bachmann staffers, were quick to denounce the attacks.

The woman's mother is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood which is the female organization for radical Islam.

    That's hardly a baseless accusation.

    Classic, perpetuating more baseless accusations.

But the left goes out of their way to analyze everything that's ever been uttered from a Republican's lips in a desperate bid to prove that they're "racist" or "homophobic" - they're truly the neo-McCarthyists.

For example, when Rick Perry was still in the race, the media pointed out that many years ago, an estate owned by his family used to be nicknamed "n*ggerhead", and this somehow proved he was a racist and unqualified to be president.

But the fact that Obama attended an anti-semetic church for over 20 years? Oh no biggie...

Thank god this woman failed in her poor attempt to be our next president. Acting like this just shows how stupid she really is.
“Republics mind their own business. Their governments have very limited powers, and their people are too busy practicing self-government to worry about problems in other countries. Empires not only bully smaller, defenseless nations, they also can’t leave their own, hapless subjects alone.... Empires and small government aren’t compatible, either.” Joseph Scotchie

And that is excuses Bachmann's neo-McCarthyists claims how?

Do you approve of what she said- is making unsubstantiated claims okay or not? Is it only bad when it happens to Perry or is also bad when it happens to a Democrat?
The problem with marriage is that we heterosexuals are not honoring marriage sufficiently- not with homosexuals wanting to get married.

Every child a homosexual couples has is a desired child.

Bachmans claims are not based on fact, she is making unsubstantiated claims. The story about Rick Perry's dads hunting land was based on fact. And wasnt the whole story supposedly leaked by a fellow republican? That probably was started by Bachman also.
