    That's the sound of Dingy Harry being thrown under the bus.

    Just another trial balloon that didn't go so well for the Obama team.

    The White House on Monday distanced President Obama from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s comments that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney hasn’t paid taxes in a decade. White House press secretary Jay Carney said on Monday that Reid (D-Nev.) “speaks for himself” and had spoken on the issue without any guidance from Team Obama.

    Not really. Reid would have known that the WH wasn't going to back this up. Its a sourceless, baseless accusation. Its also politically perfect. Now Reid can keep going after Romney, while the WH has plausible deniability.

    Reid's damage is done. The Dems spread their filthy lie with the help of all the usual co-conspirators. This IS The Chicago Way. This started in the WH.

    I watched a video of this. Carney and the white house are terrible communicators.

    Hapless Harry the Cowboy Poet was the perfect patsy for this trial balloon. His job isn't on the line till 2016.

    I think Harry's going after Romney partly because Harry's the highest ranking government official that is a Mormon. If Romney becomes President Harry will lose that status in his Church and it's just pissing him off.

    how can he not answer a question about his senate leader? makes no sense.
