What happened to our monopoly laws, what happened to our usury laws, what happened to our truth in lending laws, what happened to caring for your fellow man, what happened to "our employees are our greatest asset? Lets not forget that oil company get gigantic subsidies, BLADE that would be on your dime! Well more than your dime, "W" gave them 2.6 BILLION in subsidies, feel better now or worse?

High profits are good for some people. Coupled with a loss in jobs, however, they're good for fewer people, and at a certain point (I couldn't tell you the exact number), they become bad for the people that they aren't good for because the improvement in one group's market leverage degrades the market leverage of another group.

So yes, high profits mean workers are screwed if the workers don't get to share in those profits.

Now stop pretending you don't know this. I've seen you make posts that aren't completely stupid.

Do you remember, when they told us, a few years back, that keeping all these frivolous lawsuits out of the HMO space, would reduce our medical costs?

And now, they're telling you that corporate profits are good, and that they get re-invested, and result in more jobs.
