True Conservative..?

The words "true conservative" were attributed to John McCain not by his campaign staff, or some:

"I-was-a-POW-so-elect-me-for-President-blog", but from the President Of The United States...

What then is true or remotely conservative about John McCain..?

If the candidate from Arizona were true or conservative then why are big rightwing talkradio, cable news, and blogs, along with like-minded spiritual leaders calling for a voters strike against McCain this fall..?

A "true conservative" would not abandon a crippled wife with three children as McCain did in the early 80's to carry on an extra-marital affair...

A "true conservative" would not have conspired to personally cover up one of the biggest bank frauds, amidst the S&L crisis, costing thousands of seniors their life savings in the late 80's...
This was later known as The Keating Five where McCain took the lead role along with Astronaut John Glenn who may not have stuck up Lincoln Savings but sure drove the get-away car.

"TC" McCain co-authored McCain-Feingold ( Incumbent Protection Act) that was a body blow to the First Amendment...In it exists the necessary language to legally halter a political opponent from 'attacking" a John McCain type on his marital infidelities and and his unindicted crimes that include bank fraud and conspiracy..

The Endorser, George W. Bush, whose lame duck numbers languish at the lowest of his Presidency attempts to transgender the parlance of the term "true conservative" trying to form-fit wife-leaving, screwing-around, bank-heisting John McCain with a fed-up conservative base...

Wasn't it Bush, Kennedy, McCain, and the scandal-fleeing Trent Lott who felt the ire of the American people when their shameless Senate Immigration Bill hit the iceberg in 2007..? Wasn't it Trent Lott who correctly fingered talkradio as the culprit of their demise when he stated:

"Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.", says he.

Senator, would waterboarding solve that problem..?

Wasn't it Bush that intimated that those who oppose amnesty for 38,000,000 illegalista* (not 12 million) are a pack of knuckle-dragging, gun-toting racists..?

By osmosis, would striking voters against Bush's "true conservative" choice be branded unpatriotic for not voting for a war hero..? But what did he actually do in combat? Like McCain endorser 911 Opportunist Rudy G, folks are downright tired of him kiting his POW status for abandoning a family and crimes against grandma...Now, like then, an informed public states the obvious..?

And What they are saying is this:

Mr. Bush, we don't want this guy, and we are willing to go on a voters strike and put a Democrat in your chair come January '09 assuming we can't replace him with someone a lot better...You can try and sell our seaports to a king in the Middle East, run oil up, dump dollars, nuke Iran, intimidate Ben Bernake to counterfeit hundreds of billions in fiat currency to save the
banking system, stimulate the economies of OPEC and Communist China with 150 billion more specious blips on a computer screen, and all you can come up with is John McCain..?

Here's the price conservatives, the GOP, and Americans are going to pay: His name President Obama...Frightening enough..? But let's look at flip side. An Obama victory puts the Clinton Crime Family out to pasture...Derails the Bush Dynasty...And rids the GOP of McCain and fellow travelers...From local to national all those hacks, lobbyists, appointees, hand-out artists, and cafeteria conservatives will be shown the door under a President Obama...

Cue Republican Rebuilders whose Marshall Plan efforts to return the GOP to its conservative bedrock after the Katrina onslaught of Democrats will have to begin now in anticipation of 2010 and beyond...

Barak Obama may indeed be a fluke of history when George Bush tosses him the keys to the White House, ironically, he will owe non-voting conservatives credit for his new digs...That's the price conservatives will have to pay to purge and rebuild...Trading off a well-known liberal for an unknown one...

If that ever happens, and it may, at least he stopped a guy who left a defenseless wife and robbed little old ladies of their last pennies...Joe Webb

Yes McCain is a true conservative which is more then I can say for many of these "conservatives" bashing him.

Vote for Ron Paul, a true conservative.

At least he will make sure government is small and our money actually comes back to us. Then again his anti-war position doesnt do him any favors.

Any president coming in will sort out the Debt 'crisis'. It's not a crisis, but this is for another thread
