interesting, once the hype was pushed aside and the facts weighed, the cop is convicted of assault with a dangerous weapon and the other charges dismissed.

He shot at 3 cross dressers and 2 men as they were chasing him in their car after one of them had already beaten the officer.

I'm not sure why the 3 cross dressers and the 2 men felt it was in their purview to chase the cop.

Whether or not the cop was in the right or the wrong, he was going to get off/get a reduced charge anyway. Cops are pretty much above the law.

that's not true at all and far from accurate. The jury had to consider all of the facts. Your comment implies that 12 people, your peers, cannot review facts and come to a reasonable conclusion.

So the cop was trying to get laid by a transgender thing and got upset when it turned him down so he started shooting, then the creepy half-n-halfs go after the cop?

Sounds like we should put them all in a shower and turn on the Zyklon B.

Assault with a deadly weapon... ya that sounds about what happened, he fired a deadly weapon without the intent to kill... Soooo. Are you upset he didn't get a murder conviction? Hard to have one of those when nobody died.

no, the cop, who was under the influence, wanted sex with one of the cross dressers. It then became heated, he got beaten and fled in his car. The cross dressers and friends then chased the cop who then shot at them.
