Bhkad, hes shown he can win. I'd vote for him, not because he was black, but because of his promise of change and some of the issues I've seen of his, regarding civil rights/voting law. Yeah the governor of Massachusetts ran of the same thing inspiration and change, and the same crap. He is a total failure, cause he knows nothing how to run the state. One more time. What Ferrarro said is hardly racist. The Republicans want it to be but some people want crap to be gold but that is hardly likely to happen. Ferrarro is right in that if Obama was a white guy state senator he would not have gotten the chance. It's not that Obama is not qualified it is that Obama got the "chance" to show that maybe "he can"!

Again I will say that the Democrats were using Obama by placing him out there in the convention to speak because they wanted to show that they "had " a hotshot Black guy who can give a great speech and who can be a rising star.

Barry O'bien the white boy state senator from Wannabe Falls, Ohio would hardly be noticed except by his mother and only if they woke her up to listen to sonny's speech.

He was a token!! What you have a problem with JP is the truth that Republicans as well as Democrats have certains things in common is that :

they both have and have had tokens,
they make certain decisions that are political,
they both have politicinas who are corrupt,
they have politicians who enagage in cheating on their wives,
they both have gays in their ranks.
