Do you remember 6 or seven years ago when Bush said that this was not going to be a typical war and that we are fighting the culture of terrorism instead of a single specific nation or people? That is what is happening. I don't know if you personally supported the war in the beginning but you must understand that Bush laid out on the table everything that has happened in Iraq (or, more properly, the War on Terror[ism]) in a few speeches he gave between 2001 and 2003. Why did I, a 14-16 year old, know the extent of what we were getting into (I have; nothing has surprised me about this war), while the rest of America who are supposed to have all this life experience and wisdom that I do not, did not know what was to happen?

WEll, there were plenty of times where different possible decisions could have been made, and history could have been made different, but the possibility that I thought, when I was around 14-16, would happen has happened to be the reality, almost to the every detail, that has happened to occur.
