All sober-minded people in our European house have already realized that established in EU powerful political and economic bloc (especially after introduction of our own currency – euro) is automatically spreading its influence now farther and farther out of own bounds. But development of this process can not be in behalf of our American allies, who are ready to do everything in order to stop growing EU influence in modern world, leaving it in US effect.
And that is why USA has decided to initiate recent hasty recognition of Kosovo’s sovereignty. It is obvious that after it the whole Europe will fall into Brownian motion that cools off EU boom for years. And that is the main aim of our US friends now. Obviousness of these conclusions has escaped the notice of our European leaders. How sad that they failed this test of lousiness and have swallowed the hook easily!


The best kinds of friends are made and life lessons learned under the worst kind of circumstances.

Sad but true .Well some crisis in world are in peace negotiation for some decades (Palestinian, Cyprus etc...).I always wonder why Kosovo must be so hasty establish like new country. The true negotiations never took place and from start of negotiation USA said Kosovo will be independent and EU follow this politics but in the end EU must take care of this problem maybe in 30,40 years in future and i think this gonna be major problem for EU.
EU must some day in future to have they own policy independent of US and this is the only way to establish strong independent EU.

The US may want to get its way in forgeign policy but they do NOT want a weak EU. Maybe the US would want a weak Russia, China or middle east but we want a strong EU.

And Kosovo wasn't exactly a snap decision. It'd been an ongoing process and people knew independence was imminent for at least a year before it was officially declared. The Serbs just totally dropped the ball in terms of protesting things and getting their message out back when it would have been more relevant.
