NATIONAL HERO'S TOUR



Many of America’s most decorated war heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan have packed their bags and are hitting the road on a national bus tour to take their non-partisan message of progress and freedom from coast-to-coast.

The Vets for Freedom National Heroes Tour is about supporting our troops, honoring their commitment, and rallying the country to complete the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At this critical juncture in our country, we need Americans, lawmakers and the media, to fully recognize—and appreciate—the sacrifice of our brave military and the dramatic success they have achieved, especially in Iraq with the new counterinsurgency strategy.

Use the chart below to see when America’s heroes will roll through your town, and be sure to visit the site periodically for new tour information.

We hope to see you along the way—come out, meet some American heroes and support our troops!

I wander how many liberals will attend these rallys?

Oh I imagine there will be a protest or two somewhere along the line.

I wonder tho.. shouldn't it be the freed Iraqis going on tour begging Americans to keep babysitting their country for them and keep sending them welfare checks?

And before anyone jumps in and says that they are only doing it because they were told to, this is a volunteer only duty. That means the wanted to go on this tour.

The National Science Foundation announced the following study results on U.S. military recreation preferences:
1. Sport of choice for Marines: bowling.
2. Sport of choice for Sailors: football.
3. Sport of choice for Soldiers: baseball.
4. Sport of choice for Coast Guardsmen: tennis.
5. Sport of choice for Airmen: golf.
Notice how the farther down the list you go, the smaller their balls get.

Mabey you should go to Iraq and meet the Iraqi policemen, polititions, and soldiers who's familys were decapitated because of their support for an Iraqi Democracy. Or mabey you should talk to the Iraqi Army who is fighting a battle ALONE in Basra right now. Or even perhaps my old Iraqi friend Hassan who beared scars from when he was tortured in an Iraqi Prision. You know its hard to fight for your own freedom when if you do YOUR FAMILY IS TARGETED FOR KIDNAP OR MURDER. I guess thoes lucky Americans who have never fought for their own freedom under these circumstances "even under the british" Know so much better than they do?

I love it when pople who have never worked with the Iraqi people/police/army make comments as the ones above!

Pro Iraq Vets OVERWHELMINGLY outnumber thoes who are against Victory!

They'll get a warm welcome in my town. We're home to several units that have spent most of their time deployed.

It was almost sad when Cindy Sheenan came to protest the war; she found herself and her 300 or so supporters surrounded by close to 5000 locals waving banners in support of our troops.

Im sure they will be welcome no matter where they go in North Carolina!

Right, so does that mean the Iraqis won't be going on tour begging for Americans to continue nationbuilding their country for them?
