We are talking about JOB OUTSOURCING not MANUFACTURING JOBS MOVE TO OVERSEAS.

The main reason for job outsourcing is the CHEAP wages in foreign countries. Accounting, Telecommunications and Software Engineering jobs are the tops 3 outsourcing jobs. Hopefully you did not choose any of the above as your major.

The company I am working for has a contract with EDS doing our accounting. 3 years ago EDS subcontract our project to an Indian company, I don't know the detail but I do know EDS laid off a bunch of workers at HQ in Plano, Texas. Last November EDS laid off 12,000 more workers, that's the kind of destruction our corporate CEOs are doing these days.

Low wage jobs we give to illegal alliens.
Manufacturing jobs we send overseas.
Gerneral white collar office works we outsource.

What's left?

Now that the dollar is falling, you can't even get THAT one right.

Perhaps you should actually ASK a CEO why jobs are outsourced. The #1 reason is because of tax reasons. Corporations are being bled dry, and the idiots who hate on them have no clue to what extent.

Organic chemicals, aircraft, telecommunications equipment, medicines. Do you really think it's possible that all jobs are going to be outsourced? That concept doesn't make any sense to me.

If the company was better off by laying off the CEO, they would have most certainly layed the CEO off. But they felt otherwise. They must've had a rational reason for that move - in contrary to your naive beliefs, they are not burning their money consciously.
The problem is, you don't even know what a CEO does and why he's important to a company - that kinda disqualifies you from this discussion.
