But these things are abominations in this country, and go against what it stands for. If it were up to me, I'd dissolve every one of these things.

Most political analysts can tell you that the best political system is a mixed of Democracy/socialism/a little communism since none of them stand alone can be perfect.

Agreed. No theory is perfect. The key is to pick the best practices in each, account for exceptions in the theories and go from there.

capitalism fails because it runs on assumptions of perfectly informed parties, that there will be adequate competition and ignores bystanders to trade. In addition, morality and ethical standards are only at play if they are economically beneficial to the trading parties.

Communism/Socialism fails because some people are just plain lazy and will live off the system. In addition, there is something to be said for the technological development and innovation encouraged in in capitalism that communism/socialism is without.

The truth is almost always somewhere in the middle.

Hewlett-Packard Acquires E.D.S.
Published: May 14, 2008
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/14/te...rssnyt&emc=rss

The price of $25 a share represents a 32.5 percent premium to Electronic Data Systems’ closing price of $18.86 on Friday.

The transaction, which is expected to close in the second half of this year, has been approved by the boards of both companies. H.P. said in a statement Tuesday that it intended to make E.D.S. a separate business group that would remain in Plano, Tex.

The deal will make H.P. the second-largest player in the industry behind I.B.M., and is H.P.’s largest acquisition since it acquired Compaq for $20 billion six years ago.

This Outsourcing giant has several ups and down in company's history. Many of my friends used to work for this company were laid off long time ago. No matter how their CEO do, it's just not the same as Ross Perot' era.

If anyone is interested in Chinese Feng-Sui, you can't help not noticing ever since a new road was constructed and facing straight to the front of EDS' Main entrance door, [in Fend-SUi that's a cut throat] this company has never doing well ever since. GM purchased from Ross Perot in the early 90's, the performance was horrible for several years, then in 1996 GM sold it out to an independent company, now Hewlett-Packard is interested.

My suggestion to HP is first to fix that road entrance, Feng-Sui wise that is the biggest TOBOO to a company. After fixing that problem then go find a cheap CEO.

I present you the news, you go search whatever you don't feel comfortable with. I did not make any comments whether this is against law, you questioned it so you can answer your own question. I have no obligation to answer your twisted mind of thinking.

So you presented the information without the intent to express an opinion on it?
