After the hurricane and political shakeup and redistricting in New Orleans, many African Americans were displaced. The racial makeup has gone back to whites being the majority makeup of the city and city council. That being said they have voted to remove and tear down all housing projects which basically ensures that Blacks can't return to them. That has led to them moving in white neighborhoods around the city and that has whites up in arms. Here is the most recent story of what is taking place to send a message to them in the suburb of Metarie. Bottom line, whites do not want their property to lose value.

I suppose you have a point, depending one one's perspective. One could say a particular race is ruining this country. One could also say politicians, corporate greed, or moral decline is at fault. The Native Americans blame a different race for ruining this land. Who is correct?

White's property values do not decline because a black family moved in. They decline because white familes lower their prices for a quick sale, so they can move out; not wanting to share the neighborhood with the new black family.
Suppose I had a classic car that was a rare collectible. I kept it clean and glossy everyday. And one day, because a butterfly landed on the hood, I sold it for less than it's value. Suppose further that all the other owners of similar cars followed suit. Who would be to blame; the owners of the collectible cars or the butterfly?

If all the white families are moving out because a black family moved in, don't you think that the extreme decrease in people wanting to live there (if you assume that all white people don't want to live there) would drop the property value? If it is true that these white people will move out (I wouldn't mind, I'm not a racist), then yes, the property value will go down, but no, it is not the black peoples fault but your analogy makes no sense whatsoever. However, black people do commit more than their fair share of crime in this country (not being racist here, its a fact) so if crime went up I would leave, but that has no effect is a nice, well-to-do black family moves in.

No, you listen before making such bull (*)(*)(*)(*) remarks. Do you know of anything about what it is like to live in New Orleans? Do you know the fear that the whites have to live with their? I see it everyday there. people are afraid to go out and walk their dogs, running, etc because of these barbaric human beings that think they deserve the coffers of our country.

You listen when I tell you that these communities that are being torn down and the housing were practically inhabitable before. They are tearing it down because if you don't, there is no way New Orleans will become a better city. These (*)(*)(*)(*)ers were supposed to only get governmental housing for about a year or so because that is how long it lasts....but the blacks in this city have been getting it for 30-40 years. I applaud Mayor Nagin (and you will never hear me say that) in doing this.

William Robert aka Billy Bob in his hood is the closest thing that we have to a house neo-pseudo racist. Racism and any expession of such is not against the rules. What is against the rules is to call another member a racist even if it is true because that would constitute a personal attack. You can say anything you want against a group of people or any public figure but do not call a felow member a racist because that is against the rules.

You can say that Blacks are all lazy, Latinos smell of garlic, Jews steel money from the poor, Italians leave grease marks on your furniture, French are always wrong about evrything ( oops sorry that one is true), Chinese are slant eyed buggerheads, and Germans eat babies cooked on the grill during Oktoberfest but do call any member or refer to anything that a member posts as racist even if it is.
