If you are talking about California, I imagine that they are LOSING money. But many other States with small illegal populations are probably seeing a net gain.
Futhermore, the head of the SS said it was illegal's contributions that are keeping it afloat, so I will stand by that figure.

And I can guarentee you that the savings on produce and construction, more than offsets all the tax monies spent on illegals.

Look up homes that cost 80% of your current house, and that is where you would be living without illegals in America.

If Americans are willing to sacrafice their standard of living increases, in order to help high school drop outs work as dish washers, then I say get rid of illegals. But since I enjoy my standard of living, and abhor the idea of moving to a lesser home, I enjoy the competitive advantage that America provides me.

They are here now and have risked everything to get here. Why has the 'Land of Immigrants' blocked the gates? Why does it take two years to get a Green Card?!?!!? The solution to two problems is to guarantee citizenship to illegals who join the military, Overnight we would have 500,000 new recruits. Let them at least fight for their right to be here like we have let every other group of immigrants!

The Immigration service needs and overhaul. I am an American citizen who moved to the UK (which was out of my control being 7) and now I have to wait two years to get registered on the system and move back and work! My own country will not let me move back without going through checks! My family have been in America since 1740 and fought the British yet, my own country will not elt me move back. This is the problem with the immigration system and why it needs to be reformed.

There is no SS fund. The money that goes in is spent immediately on any pork project that needs cash on hand. Meanwhile we rely on current contribution to make payouts to those currently receiving benefits. And while they may be paying SS taxes, they aren't making income tax payments.

I'd bet our saving in these areas doesn't even cover their healthcare costs.

I don't have any problem with immigration. In fact I think that's the defining feature that makes our nation great, but migrating illegally places a burden on the tax payers of this country.

20 million illegal aliens, this number represents the most current estimate of illegal immigrants in our country. If we allow them all to become US citizen, within 10 years, this number can be easily tripled or five times more. Just giving natural birth alone will add 5 more millions of population then those with green card status can start applying for their parents, sisters, brothers and relatives. You add 4 more times to its original number; we are getting close to 100 million of people within 10 years. How can our society endure this kind of burden of over-population? This is definitely a threat to our national security.

This shouldn't even be an economic issue guys, it's one of principle. These people broke the law. We can't set a precedent that allows others to break the law. It's a matter of consistency.
