Illegal immigrants of all varieties are a drag on our economy, and more specifically our health care system.

None of that matter though, because we have immigration laws in this country. In Mexico, immigration laws are a federal offense and one that you can be imprisoned for. But we're supposed to throw open our arms and welcome any and all comers regardless of what legislation has been passed. That's nonsense I say, if we're going to leave this law unenforced what's next?

So as long as immigrants continue to contribute to the 'american way of life', they should be rewarded, and their burden subsidized for making your life more comfortable. American people from both the private and public sector have realized this thats why some american banks allow mexicans to open bank bank accounts using mexican id, and american politicans have opted to allow illegal immigrants amnesty, if you will, so they can continue providing the services they do. This arguement is irrelevant in the light of things because as long as so called 'anchor babies' reach 18(voting age), and illegal immigrants strive to become citizens the political clout of immigrants, and thus their staying power, is increased. This would happen even if today we stopped all illegal immigration, its just that illegal immigration makes it a whole lot faster.

Britain let in a bunch of Eastern Europeans and they have come over and done the economy miracles by allowing jobs that were unfilled.

Immigrant labor allows a society to better manage its resources, that is, the ability to employ the right people for the right jobs. When the immigrants leave your state and you have no one to serve you your Whoppers or clean your streets then I'll be civil and let you come in live in our society
