Its solar arrays haven't opened up yet to give power. About an hour to go until we see pictures. Watched the hole landing on NASA tv.

A Thornton Academy and UMaine graduate is part of the engineering team that prepared the Phoenix.

Bovill was born in Portland and graduated from Thornton Academy in Saco. He earned a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Maine and was enrolled in a graduate physics program at the University of Arizona when he heard about the Mars mission, which was being planned on campus.
