Thank you very very much for helping me prove my theory that Islam is completely void of reason and logic, and has no place in the modern world.

I've yet to run into an Islamic forum member who can go blow for blow with me in a debate. I'm not saying that I'm always right, I'm just saying that reason and logic get thrown out the window in every debate with Muslims, and as with my "debate" with you on various threads clearly shows.

You are the poster boy for the illogical thought-process that many Muslims often times engage in.

Many Muslims are probably smarter than me, it's just that, no offense, but they can't square their belief system with the real world at all (not even close.) So they usually resort to calling me names or "but Christianity..." (as if that defends their own belief system somehow - again, no logic or reason.)

Which is better, accepting gays (I'm not gay, but I don't think Elton John should be tortured to death) or killing them as the Islamic texts call for?

"Equitable", you say? In Quran 9:5 (below) it says that after I'm defeated in war, that if I don't convert to Islam that you are to KILL me. Not very equitable, that's for sure.

I'd be careful quoting from the Quran to someone who is Muslim (do you know Arabic, SunniMan?)
I've been told the Arabic text cannot be accurately translated into English; thus, every "translation" of the holy book is an interpretation at the discretion of the translator.

Ok, then here are 2 more versions of Quran 9:5, which basically say the same vile thing:

YUSUFALI: But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

The problem is is that most Muslims don't understand Arabic, and there is no central authority in Islam, so they can interpret the Islamic texts any which way they please, and many interpret it in the worst way, such as "kill the infidel".

Does it bother you that 1.3 billion people won't simply object to passages that say to basically enslave you in an apartheid-like totalitarian Islamic supremacist state?

What democratic state has passages in it that say to subjugate people simply based on their religious beliefs?

From that Muslim site, what are your thoughts on how Quran 2:282 can be reformed?
Quran 2:282: "....and call in to witness from among your men two witnesses; but if there are not two men, then one man and two women from among those whom you choose to be witnesses, so that if one of the two errs, the second of the two may remind the other..."

Incredibly, this passage says that women are stupid (yet where's the call to change it in the Islamic community!), and arguably inferior to men, as contrasted to, say, the Canadian Constitution, or Swiss Constitution, etc. which do not say that women are inferior.

Speaking of mal-treatment of women:
No wonder the Islamic world lags all other cultures in equality of women, according to this report:
