FINALLY----CNN is reporting on the horror of al Qaeda in Iraq---based on some papers and videos provided to them---- and how they have been defeated there. Perhaps now liberals can begin to understand just WHY al Qaeda in Iraq had to be defeated and the success we've had there.

If not, wouldn't more Islamic-majority nations (that are outside of Afghanistan) be fighting the terrorists in Afghanistan? To my knowledge, DENMARK has more foreign COMBAT troops in Afghanistan than the entire Muslim world combined!! I might be wrong on this, but if so, can someone please show me. Thanks!

Bush is not a criminal like Bin Laden. Bush has UN legitimacy, and the election of a nation with 300 million residents (a democracy!) No Jihadi/terrorist in the entire world enjoys that level of legitimacy. Nice try though.

Of course they have to be defeated. It's just seems odd to be fighting a group that didn't even exist prior to us invading. It's sort of like opening your door and letting 15,000 rats in your house and then saying how important is is to defeat the rats. Well yes, it is, but ?????.
