Actually, in that particular story they were stranded because they didn't listen to the burning bush.

Promised?

After 5 years, US oil companies (as well as numerous other countries) are finally showing up to put Iraq back on the oil map and the MSM hits us over the head (again) with the blood for oil routine. This was a catch 22 from the start.

liberals said:
Start taking oil and oil profits relatively immediately from the Iraqis=blood for oil.

liberals said:
Wait for stability and govenmental competence before helping Iraq pump oil and reinvigorate its industry, which may lead to lower prices and debt Iraq War debt relief for the US at some juncture= blood for oil.

liberal said:
Not receiving any oil/profits from Iraq=why arent we taking the oil to drop prices and pay for war.

Its early July 2008 and oil prices have suffered some their largest declines ever. He is a genius. All hail the Sweesh Tribune.
