Is not her failure part of a whole the congress? He has failed even with a congress that was fully on his side. I do think that the congress is a mess as well. The is to much across the aisle fighting. There should be term limits set for congress as well. The idea of hanging around there for as long as some do is silly.

Nothing is accomplished because we are steeped in infighting. The losers in all of this are we the people.

I would not be sad if they were all voted out and new people took all the seats.

All this said I agree with her that the Bush Presidency is a mess and one I would never care to see again.

Pelosi and her gang are the "total failures." They are preventing us from going after more of our own oil and keeping gas prices up. WHICH, BTW, gas prices have more than doubled since the Dems took over over a year ago. And now, she's already weakened her much-heralded Ethics bill, in just under a year's time----in favor of lobbyists, of course. They hold the lowest Congressional approval rating EVER at single digits now. They've pretty much not done anything they are supposed to do----like give judge nominations a vote, pass budgets, etc. ALL they can do is whine about Bush and do the same investigations over and over and over again ad nauseum, wasting our time and money.

Besides all that, she's ONE spooky-looking woman!! <G>

“You know, God bless him, bless his heart, the president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject.”

Feb 08
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said twice Sunday that Iraq “is a failure,” adding that President Bush’s troop surge has “not produced the desired effect.”
“The purpose of the surge was to create a secure time for the government of Iraq to make the political change to bring reconciliation to Iraq,” Pelosi said on CNN’s “Late Edition.” “They have not done that.”
The speaker hastened to add: “The troops have succeeded, God bless them.”

God Bless them indeed.

If Pelosi becomes part of the conversation you know the word faluire will be used. She makes everything around her stink. I swear by all the complaining and pointing of the finger she does she must be permanently on the rag.

And today she claims that her statement was a polite comment.

So she is a politician who sees calling someone a failure as polite. Maybe she should remind Obama, while on his trip to the Middle East, to go and tell Arab leaders they are failures so he will be polite to them.

I gotta remember to use that word as being polite in my life and tell people it is how I learned to talk from America's congress.

There is a lot to complain about these days.

I understand where many of the libs and Dems come from in criticizing our party. Guys like McCain [and some of Bush's stuff] provide great fodder for them to launch a few salvos against us.

But then I just remember than people like Gore, Kerry, and Pelosi represent them... and suddenly I don't feel so bad!
