Watched it. My impressions:
The GOP college group that put the video together needs to make better friends with the film department at whatever institute they're at.
Were those really the weirdest, least-credible people they could find? I've been to a lot of protests and I'll be the first one to tell you that those things attract a lot of weirdos (so do the counter-protests across the street, mind you -- and some of those people are actually armed). The people that they picked for the video, who were no doubt the worst ones they could find, just seemed like normal people who aren't used to being on camera.
Also, that whole "spitting on a war veteran" thing was a bit of a scam. That chick didn't even know he was a war veteran when she spat on him, that's pretty clear. For him to follow her around going, "Why would you spit on a war veteran?" seemed pretty silly. As far as she knew, she was spitting on the right-wing pinhead who was trying to start an argument at a peace rally. No, it certainly was not okay for her to spit on him (I've gotten very much in peoples' faces over exactly that at peace rallies), but neither was it the anti-veteran statement that the guy tried to make it seem like.
Hey, I've got an idea. How 'bout I take a video camera to a pro-war rally and pick out eight minutes of the most embarrassing footage I can come up with? No, wait -- that would be stupid and pointless and mean.
