Look at it this way, maybe President Obama will be the one to bring all the troops home and then you can claim that we achieved victory in Iraq all by himself.

Why would he want to lay claim to lies and manipulation practiced on a national level? Why would he want to lay claim to the tortured, twisted logic bush doled out as his reasons for invading? Why would he want to lay claim to undercutting the UN and ignoring our allies? Why would he want to lay claim to the deeds of an administration which proved that a large portion of the American populace prefers to be spoonfed lies rather than put forth the effort to chew on the truth?

You're right. Even if Iraq totally stabilizes and regional peace takes hold, Obama will still probably deny it ever happened.

So its a good idea to let the mechanic drive your fixed car around as his personal transportation for a few days(i am assuming thats what you mean since letting it sit there wouldn't prove anything either way)in order to gaurd against a future breakdown? Sounds like the same type of faulty logic the Bush Administration uses.

No you do not understand the level of hate because you refuse to acknowledge the very valid reasons for it. Most (whether you believe it or not) do not advocate running out and leaving Iraq to its own devices. Now that we have cracked the eggs we need to try and make a decent omelt out of it. The points we contest and which you refuse to acknowledge have to with Bush's conduct preceeding the war and the fact that he has not been held accountable for lying to the American public, trashing our foriegn relations, ruining our crediblity, and subverting the constitution.
