Default Batman makes windfall profits

Batman has made too much money at the expense of Americans who can barely afford to put gas in their vehicles, their record breaking profits this weekend are an example of an industry run wild.

To reign in this obscene profits we should impose a windfall tax on all entertainment that rakes in record breaking profits. They're making their money and don't have a care in the world for Americans suffering in Ohio like these two:

When are we going to stop letting this private companies run rampant and make money hand over fist, the time has come to bring down the hammer of government and take their profits and nationalize the industry. Gas companies and entertainers are two birds of the same feather and them making lots of money is totally unacceptable.

Without passing judgment on the windfall profits tax itself, the government has an interest in preventing a monopoly on oil while it doesn't have an interest in preventing a monopoly on a movie.

Windfall profit? Watch out the Democrats will be trying to overtax them now.

Taxing profits in a oligarchical industry prevents a monopoly from forming?

Your going to have to fill me in on how this works.

Hilarious.
He's making a joke Mack.

That picture reminds me of something:

Hungry people in the US:

Hungry people in Africa:

I bet those two women together way more than all those kids together.

Why is it so bad for people to make money; we're a capitalist society not a socialist/communist (thank God). We give them that power so it's really the people who pay into it. Going to the movies is not a necessity like gas so in reality it's the person-who-goes-to-see-it's fault. Not the entertainment industry.

Those kids would eat those girls alive for years.

The point is to keep a firm from using the monopoly to jack up prices and instead charge what would be charged if the firm had some competition.

BTW, I don't agree with the profits tax, but I do think we should stop giving oil companies billions in tax breaks.
