McCain makes one of many mistakes we can expect from an "elderly" Senator.

um, the Awakening came BEFORE the surge.

Now he's trying the ol' Clinton "the meaning of is" (though i'd bring him in before the obsessed conservatives bring him up) and saying that's not what he meant.

Well, imagine if Obama would have made that simple mistake. There are a few posters here who would have made at least a dozen threads about it.

Combine this with his earlier HUGE miste: He said Iran, a Shiite country, was allowing al-Qaida fighters, who are typically Sunni, to train there before returning to Iraq.
