Default Islamic Fundamentalist "keen" on Bush's re-election

The next time someone tries to tell you that nobody but fundamentalist Christians, corporate CEOS, and neoconservative ideologues support George Bush’s election as president, you tell them that’s not fair. Terrorists do too. Here’s a statement from Abu Hafs al-Masri, the Islamic militants who claimed “credit” for the Madrid train bombings, in support of Bush’s election campaign:

"We are very keen that Bush does not lose the upcoming elections," it said.

Addressing Bush, it said: "We know that a heavyweight operation would destroy your government, and this is what we don't want. We are not going to find a bigger idiot than you." The statement said Abu Hafs al-Masri needs what it called Bush's "idiocy and religious fanaticism" because they would "wake up" the Islamic world. Comparing Bush with his Democratic challenger, Senator John Kerry, the statement tells the president, "Actually, there is no difference between you and Kerry, but Kerry will kill our community, while it is unaware, because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish infidelity and present it to the Arab and Islamic community as civilization."

Default Well, then...

...that's all settled. This guy wants Bush in office because he'll give Islamic militants a fight, whereas Kerry won't.

Gosh, I'll run right out and vote for Kerry.

Default HUH?

HUH? You think that is some kind of important point against Bush? Looks to me like the statement is saying he pretty much hates all of Americans and both parties and he plans to destroy us no matter who is in charge.

Strange what liberals latch onto........

Default No JP5

Read it again... this terrorist(amazing who the liberals base their political opinions on...) is FOR Bush because he will kill the radical muslims and send them to Allah, which is what they want afterall...

He opposes Kerry because Kerry's plan for defeating terrorism is useing satelitte's to beam the "Spice" channel right into their mosques....

Oh, the evilly ingenious Senator from Taxachuesetts!

Default actually, I would agree

A Bush victory will probably be used to reruit more terrorists, a Kerry victory will probably used to recruit more terrorists.

They might get delight in doing something in the next month to mess things up but it won't be to sway an election like Ridge thinks (Ridge using terror for political purposes) and a vote for either party won't mean an attack as a result like Cheney thinks (Cheney using terror for political purposes). But, I would be very, very concerned if I was a Secret Service agent.

Terrorists know that european countires (Spain) will change governments just to get out of a fight but we won't - in fact, if a party loses in America power is handed over smoothly.

Terrorists also don't care who is in office - ask Reagan and Clinton.

Default it might work

"He opposes Kerry because Kerry's plan for defeating terrorism is useing satelitte's to beam the "Spice" channel right into their mosques.... "

But I think a Reality TV Show would probably be more successful ( or it may make them hate us more)

We certainly know what sound logic terrorists use Of course we could also discuss the terrorists and those like Kim Jong Il who support Kerry.
