As I understand it, there was a volunteer who either WAS a swiftboat vet or was a person who worked for them... That volunteer was immediately removed from the Bush/Cheney Campaign...

There was also a flier that was promoting some Swiftboat vts speaking at a Bush/Cheney rally in Florida... I do not know how that instance turned out but i would assume that the Bush/Cheney campaign clamped down on those fellas and the local headquarters that attempted the rally... But I would appreciate if KenLay or TB would be so kind as to inform us about what happened with that incident....

Please do not tarnish your credibility by backing the guilty parties in this scandal due to partisanship. You are a man with his head firmly on his shoulders and you should be honest enought to not play games over this. All this stuff coming out about CBS producer Mary Mapes makes me wonder about the Abu Gharib scandal. After all, she was the one who broke that story. How much of that story was "doctored" to make it look worse for our military? She's been described as very, very liberal. She's anti-war. And we now know that she's not above using forged documents.

When you use forged documents to back your point then everything you've done comes under scrutiny...and it should. Who knows, Mapes could be the Jason Blair of CBS for all we know.

Where was the demand for "PROOF" and "HARD EVIDENCE" with the AWOL accusation on Bush? Are you applying a double standard?

Come on TB, this is ridiculous. Oh everyone knows he went AWOL do we need proof? Everyone at one time KNEW the earth was the center of the solar system, so yes proof is needed. Especially if you are going to sit back there and demand proof for every right winged allegation put forth. Apply the standards you apply to others to yourself!
