Default Emmys were the lowest Ratings ever

The ratings were in the toilet. Down 22% from last year. I think the public has had it with Hollywood. I can't believe anyone would want to watch there self indulgent award show in the first place. but, thats just me. or is it? it was a ratings Bomb.

Default Social experiments

We flipped by it a few times. More liberals patting themselves on the back. We happened to catch one guy thanking his "husband." And then of course, the "Angels in America" show got all the awards. All of tv is a social experiment as far as the Dems go. They think if they put enough gays on primetime and highlight their issues enough, that everybody will fall in lockstep behind them. That's why I'm glad we have so many channels now....and can rent whatever we wish to watch.

Default Yeah, it was because people are sick of the "liberals"...

..and has NOTHING to do with the fact that it's always the same (*)(*)(*)(*) shows being nominated, and it is no longer amusing to watch the networks getting kicked in the 'nads by HBO....

Yeah, THAT'S the ticket.....

Default =)

In all honesty i think it doesn't have much to do with the left lean in Hollywood and more along the lines of too many years of award show after award show, backpatting for mediocre at best programing, and the homogenizing of television...

I think the Internet is having a big impact on many many fields and Hollywood is just one of em....

Default Miss America was the lowest rated ever

From the illogic displayed in this topic, I guess that must mean that beautiful women are all liberal. lol

Still, I was thrilled that Arrested Development upset the comedies and won best comedy. I find the show hilariously funny. It constantly makes me giggle (although I must admit I'm intrigued by the nevernude syndrome).
