DEMOCRATIC PROMISE #16: Lower Gasoline Prices

Promise: “Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices…join Democrats who are working to lower gas prices now.”
– Then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Press Release, April 19, 2006

Broken Promise: “The average price of gasoline hit $3.218 a gallon Monday, up a stunning 11.5 cents the past week and just half a penny shy of the inflation-adjusted record, the government reported. The average is almost certain this week to pass the inflation-adjusted high of $3.223, recorded in May 1981 by the Energy Information Administration.”
– “Average Gasoline Price Nears 1981 Average,” USA Today, May 22, 2007.
You realize were still waiting for that there "Plan".

I agree both parties have their faults, but the fact tha Sen. McCain has voted time after time against alternitive energy, or renewable energy to replace oil has America's energy does not sit well in my book.

Neither does the fact that in his many speeches it seems like Alternitive fuel is always in the shadows.

It's always DRILL HERE DRILL NOW MORE OIL talk , and a lot less focus on Alternitive fuel

This is not a new debate this started 35 years ago when the gas lines were there, and when a president said America is addicted to oil.
Some people then said all we need is more oil.
I and many others said Alteritive fuel now, America can start reserching to find which alteritive fuel would be best to replace oil or at least some of the use of oil.
Today America is right back where we was.
I said then and I say now enough!
Oil is not the only energy on the planet earth????

I am waiting on both parties plans.

The Democrats don't have a plan and neither do the Republicans, because if they did they would have implemented when they were in power.

How you doin.
