Icon19 Bush blames Democrats for high gas prices

President Bush blaming high gas prices on Democrats is like blaming the citizens of New Orleans for Hurricana Katirna.

http://www.charter.net/news/read.php...ARSDCCL2_UNEWS

Now I could be wrong, but this guy and the Republican lead Congress sat on their azzez for 6 yrs and watched gas prices go through the roof, but now it is the Democrats fault that gas prices are soooo high.

Unbelievable.

You are right on the money. Man, those Democrats have had nothing to do with the 35 years of preventing us from from being self-sufficient in the area of fuel and lowering fuel prices or researching and delivering on alternative forms of energy. Durn those Republicans.

All the repub's have to do is say it over and over again knowing that people that want to believe it will just repeat it without any reasoning or research.

Do you deny the prices went down after President Bush removed the executive order about no offshore drilling? It would go down more if Congress would get their act together, support offshore drilling and more, and America would be seen working together to end this oil crisis by becoming self-sufficient. The American people are ready, where is Congress and the nay sayers?

American Oil Executives have control over a small percentage of the oil commodity in the world. Why keep harping on them when the largest percentage of oil is controlled by radical and terrorist countries run by dictatorships? I wish you all would get your facts straight before jumping on the anti-America bandwagon. Support efforts to reduce our dependence on foreign countries and to move ahead with alternative energy. Othewise, we'll be in the same mess as EU which is so dependent on foreign oil, they can't standup to rogue nations such as Russia that can cut their oil flow as is occuring with the Georgia conflict. EU, an accumulation of nations with their tails between their legs.
