Did any of you see the DailyShow last night? They essential said the exact same thing as Truebrit - but obviously with a great comedic flare (no offence Truebrit)

The irony is, I think this story - albeit not good for CBS - is ultimately going to hurt Bush. How can someone ignore the Dan Rather Memos vs Bush and WMD? It's the EXACT same scenerio as Truebrit described.

So I say - anyone who asks for Dan Rathers resignation should ask for Bush's as well or consider themselves a hypocrit/republican(same thing).

Though, I'm a logically thinking person. Dan Rather should be let go, and similarly George Bush should be let go. With Dan's mistake, only someone else's dignity was on the line. With George's mistake, thousands of American soldiers lives and the US's dignity is on the line. Which is worse?

Because [one] thousand American soldiers died while Bush was in office, he needs to be let go. So I guess any President that allowed for American soldiers to die in great quantity should have been relieved of duty (that would be nearly every American President by the way).

so it's just wrong of anyone to go after poor Dan Rather, I mean, lots of people do bad things. So let's all give him a chance, come on guys! (I highly doubt you would be so forgiving if Rather had libeled John Kerry like that).

Never said that. What I said was that for those who believe that Dan rather should resign for misleading the public, should also ask Bush to resign for misleading the public.

Come on, Sunshine - you're brighter then that. This is about Innocent people dying as a result of Bush's Lying to/misleading (whichever side of the fence your on) the world with regards to Iraq and the WMD.
