You'd think that with all the problems Obama has with so many demographics that Pelosi and such would know not to pull such crap.

Ah well..those who pander to the Far left are not the brightest bulbs in the business..

Default Why.............

is this so surprising? You can not be catholic and be pro-choice. This is not news. If she wants to remain a Christian, there are other religions with less stringent stands on abortion, though the hypocracy is laughable. How can someone follow a religion that tells you, "you are in the state of sin, and unworthy to recieve the sacrament of communion"?
She wears her religion to cement her relationship, with what's left of the blue collar democrats. If they ever wise up, they'll soon be republican, and leave the crazy, looney, leftest, special interest groups that make up the majority of the democratic party.

Default Catholic Bishops should blast homosexual pedo priests

Catholic Bishops should blast homosexual pedophile priests instead of sticking their stupid staffs into Pelosi's stuff.

Of course she can. What right does anyone have to take her religion from her just because she happens to disagree with the churches view? If she believes in God, and worships God, then the fact that she is pro choice is not an issue - and nor should it be.

The far left would be communists. I haven't seen any communists on this forum. I have seen a lot of mean spirited far right (the far right is fascist) who consider anyone who advocates the government helping anyone in any way to be a communist.

But then the far rightees aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.

I completely disagree with you that you cannot be pro-choice and be Catholic at the same time. In my opinion as long as you believe and adhere to the basic principles of Christian beliefs and the basic Chatholic tenets you can be a Catholic. As I said earlier the bishops need to worry about their failure to contain the homosexual pedophile priests instead of whether some of us do not meet all of the facets of faith.

The rules of religions are made by man not God so I am sure that God will be much mad at the bishops for heir failure than for Polosi's or mine.

Default To follow..........

a religion you don't agree with is the hightest form of hypocracy. Why would someone do this, other than to gain political favor or because of some crazy superstition? Why force her way into the catholic church, when it doesn't recognize her views? How comforting could it be to Pelosi, knowing full well that she not following the most fundemental view of the church? Why doesn't she find a Christian religion that will welcome her pro abortion views? There are many of them.

before you start pointing that crooked finger at pelosi for refusing to drink the kool aid flavor required by the catholic church, i invite you to read this article about your beloved mother theresa and how she actually lost her faith many, many years ago
http://www.time.com/time/world/artic...655415,00.html

and pelosi, not my favorite, did an exceptional job in illustrating that the question asked of Obama, which answer exceeded his pay level, was one long disputed within the catholic church. she defended her position by illustrating saint augstine's opinion that the zygote does not truly become a life form until after 3 months into the gestation period. as with the fact that its priests were abusing their moral authority to abuse their young, innocent acolytes, the church would again find it convenient to ignore the truth which pelosi has conveyed

catholics recognize saints. Other Christian religions are smart enough to realize that saints, being mere mortals, are not to be followed blindly. Having a saint justify abortion is as silly as saying "one size fits all", and is not the stand of the Catholic church.
