My prayers go out to everyone Nawlins. The government response should be a lot better this time around since FEMA and the federal government has experience with Katrina and the Mid-west floods. Hopefully this will help improve the lives of the survivors this time around.

Default Oh the irony.

The overall irony and timing of this storm is just amazing.

Finally being in the limelight of their Katrina reunion convention, Republicans are forced to actually put the citizens of our country first. Because they know people are watching.

Bush and Cheney have to forgo the Convention, as McCain says thank goodness, and Bush is going to San Antonio to monitor the situation. Good job Bush..just three years too late.

I pray for all in the south who are going to suffer the brunt of this storm and I also HOPE and pray that Bush has not diverted so much of our money and manpower to fight his war that it has not detracted from the response we could have had given those resources and manpower.

I pray that Bush has done his job over the last three years. The three years he has had to Repair and shore up New Orleans.

I think the state is the one that is to fix their problems the only thing Bush can do is give them money how they used it is their problem. Or do you think Bush should have rolled up his sleeves and fixed their levee's?

on the good side, Guatav gave bush a chance to blow off the GOP national convention so he can spend his time at the ranch, instead

glad he has his priorities right

The media always blows hurricane's out of proportion. It's good for ratings.

I have faith though, the increased frequency and increased strength of gulf-hurricanes have nothing to do with global warming. My faith in Poseidan's wrath remains unwavered.

How do you blame a political party for a Hurricane? Do you understand that the city of New Orleans and the governor of Louisiana were both Democrats at the time? Are you going to put any kind of blame on them, or just Bush?

All disasters are local, until the local and state government call in the federal government. The federal government cannot just run roughshot over the state's authority and personal responsiblities.

Quit trying to politicize a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing storm. That is just stupid.
