No, why dont you explain it.

Unless of course you are going to blame a political party for a storm, you can save that one.

10 out of 10. ALthough this time around we have a Republican Governor, so they might try and blame him now, then Bush...lol.

Then, what will be the over/under that Mayor "Chocolate City" gets another free pass?
He will probably get re-elected....again. But what do you expect? New Orleans is a liberal Democrat city, yet the liberal Democrat mayor, who couldnt and wouldnt even EVAC his own city for Katrina, and then blames Bush for not doing his job for him. Then, the people of New Orleans re-elected him in 2006, so......

YouTube - Foul Don Fowler Amused by New Orleans Hurricane

"So you see, it's funny. That New Orleans will get a hurricane. That's funny because it is due to hit when President Bush is scheduled to speak. Isn't that cool?"

Yea, Don real cool. Tens of thousands have worked hard to rebuild and are facing getting re-wiped out and all you can think about is how cool it is politically? A compassionate Democrat I see.
Democratrs are stupid. Trying to blame a hurricane on a political party and a politician.

I'm from New Orleans, born and raised. Everytime there was a hurricane, the national media would go nuts and then the hurricane wouldn't do any real damage. The hurricanes were fun more than anything. If they get above 3, they can do serious damage but those are typically rare. Global warming, the massive scientist-conspiracy, is causing higher numbers of dangerous hurricanes. Other than the levee breaking, New Orleans is fully equipped to deal with hurricanes. I'd be more concerned about other parts of the world, which could be affected by global warming in ways they are not experienced at handling.

This hurricane is extra amusing though, because it reminds everyone of Katrina and coincides with the Republican Convention. They're getting all worked up, like it will be a disaster equal to Katrina. It's a complete over-reaction, showing again how Republicans are failures. First they under-respond, then they over-respond. This hurricane looks like a normal case where it will slow down to being mostly harmless.

But that doesn't shake my faith in Poseidan. Must have faith!

Excuse me Nicholas, if you live in New Orleans, and you blame Bush for Katrina, then what do you think of Nagan and Blanco's response?

They had 3 days to move people and didnt do a dam thing. Yet you sit there and blame Bush? I take it you voted for Nagan again to right?

Once again, blaming Republicans, for diong a Democrat mayor's and Democrat Governor's job for them. New Orleans, the mecca of "give me, give me, give me."

But that is Republicans fault to right?

J-E-E F-R-E-A-K-I-N W-I-Z!!!

All disasters are local, until the local and state government call in the federal government. The federal government cannot just run roughshot over the state's authority and personal responsiblities.

Quit trying to politicize a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing storm. That is just stupid.
What is it that you don't understand about NOT being willing of able to supply sufficent FEDERAL aid and assistance?? If the Levees are not high enough of strong enough to hold back this storm, if they should have been built higher and stronger and faster don't you feel people are going to be asking the federal government why they sent the additional 5 feet of need levees to Iraq? Why a halfassed job was done yet again?

Does anyone know if there will be other areas unprepared or unable to cope, in other states, that may face a disaster because of this hurricane?

The levees failed because of faulty design, not lack of maintenance. The Army Corps of Engineers is at fault because it was their responsibility to design and build them properly, and they failed. Since the USACE is a federal agency, that makes it Bush's responsibility.
