Default Unfair policy against looters in New Orleans!!

In times of national emergency, desperate people need to do desperate things such as obtain life's essentials. Many folks in New Orleans are evidently going to ride out Hurricane Gustav and they will soon be without the things they need.

If nobody is running the stores, do we expect the citizens of New Orleans to simply WAIT until the stores re-open in order to get the things they need? Or is it reasonable to expect that they will go into these closed-up and boarded-up stores and obtain things they need to survive?

The Republican (ugh!) Governor of Louisiana has taken a tough stance against looters. Of course he would... he HAS everything he needs, but he expects others to just "do without" and suffer. I think it was better for the folks of New Orleans when during Katrina, the then-Democrat govenor and the police allowed people to get the things they needed from the closed stores. It was more fair then.

Vote Obama for "CHANGE WE CAN ALL BELIEVE IN!"...

The only people that loot are the black people. Blacks just want to steal everything, because it's not like they have to survive and help their families. White people on the other hand can take what they need and that's okay because they actually have families at home.

I don't think it is fair to make them wait for the stores to reopen. If they do have to wait, everything they need should be supplied for them.

I think the point is this, the governor has declared that southern Louisiana will be evacuated. If you stay you are on your own. Looting won't be excused. Many people who do stay, stay because they are worried about being looted. It is a big problem with hurricane evacuation. If you want to people to leave you must be tough on those who choose to stay.

I think it is a good policy.

As read from the "Proud Socialist Democrat"'s memoirs. Yet the "Proud Sociast Democrat" has no idea how it should happen.
