has never been a big fan of free speech.

Default Looks like the Xenophobia is in Sweden

http://www.migrationint.com.au/news/...1995-13mn.html

I wonder how much of this is still true today. I'd say much of it based on the anti-semitism that still exists.

http://www.washtimes.com/commentary/...3517-4718r.htm

"The small town of Orbyhus, 80 miles north of Stockholm, has become a symbol of the xenophobia threatening Sweden. Fifteen refugee families from Bosnia and Kosovo have been the target of violence and intimidation. Nightly vigils by skinheads are held outside their homes."

"In a November 3 report, the UN human rights committee praised Sweden for its human right record, but expressed concern about the growing racism and xenophobia in Swedish society."

"The case has been front-page news for several weeks because several international organizations are concerned that Sweden is violating the UN Children's Convention by not protecting welfare of refugee children. The child rights' organization, Save the Children, has said that the children of asylum-seekers are by law denied the same health and dental care as Swedish children."

But don't take my word on it, see the annual lists the UN publishes about the best nations to live in. Sweden and Scandinavia are as good as it gets.

And we all know that freedom of speech ALWAYS has restrictions, yes even in the US.
The same organization that worked with Saddam to steal billions? Great source.

Sweden is great if you want to be jailed for speaking your mind. It's also great if you don't want to own a business or be self-sufficient, but instead reliant on the government. In summary, if you want to live in an environment where the government controls your life then Sweden is for you. If you want to live in freedom where the biggest determining factor in life is your own actions, then the US is best. Which is why year after year the US is the most innovative country in almost every field you could list. I guess you like Sweden because you are not smart enough to make it on your own and need the government's help.
What kind of crap is that?

Basically you say.................."Sure Sweden has less crime, less poverty, less tensions between rich and poor, less ghettos, less people shot, less foreign enemies that cut their heads off and fly planes in their buildings, less pollution, more economic stability, more accessibility of higher education......................................... ..........but we've got freedom."

But actually Sweden offers much more freedom and transparency than the US, so actually you even lose on that issue.

Default So, Captain Wet, are you swedish?

Because you sure seem defensive right now.

There's nothing wrong with being Swedish, if you like that sort of thing. It's just not very desirable to most Americans (though I think many of the guys here have fantasies about banging the new St. Pauli girl).

I wish you guys would all work from the same fr*ggin map then

Everytime theres an attack on Europeans on this board (which, lets be honest, is pretty (*)(*)(*)(*) regular) I struggle to understand whether the UK is or is not included in the attack.

As for valuing freedom, England was pretty much flattened during WW2 by the constant bombings, believe me the UK is very appreciative of its freedom. Enough of our innocent citizens died for it.
90% (or more) of the time that there is an "Attack on Europeans on this board", it is a reaction resulting from unremitting "Attacks" on the U.S., our Government, our society, our Laws, our Leaders, our Citizens, our History, our Accents, or the pastel colors that we choose to paint our Toenails!!!@We endure these insults in stoic silence ( ) until it dawns upon us that the Irony and Hypocrisy being exhibited is indefensible!! And then we load up our Shotgun and spray pellets in the general Easterly direction of EUROPE! If England would get off of it's "Stiff Upper Lip" highhorse and actually distance itself from the stupidity coming from the Continent, it would gradually regain a measure of respectability for individual thought! But as it is, most of the putrid, self righteous claptrap aimed at the U.S. by the Egomaniacal, "Major Powers" of Europe, are simply parroted by the Brits. Witness the "Me Too'isms" of TruBrit.

By the way, when you castigate the U.S. for some perceived Mortal Sin against the world, are you including Hawaii and Alaska in the definition of "U.S."?? They are a long ways from the "Continental U.S.". Does that exempt them?

Default Well, Wet, I think I delivered the most succinct attack

on the Swedish hate speech laws that you're going to find on these threads, in a fashion that even a 3rd grader could understand.

So, are you swedish?

Default Utah,

Is Audra posting on this thread? Or are you just confusing us again? I know, we agents of ZOG are virtually identitical.
