Any objective person realizes that Al Qaeda is not a country or a military, nor are they interested in fighting any military or even holding land. They are a few thousand nut cases that are in "sleeper cells" of 2-5 guys preparing attacks. The military cant do a (*)(*)(*)(*) thing to fight this. The way you beat them is to rebuild our assassin operations which we got rid of 20 years ago with the church commision and the dreaded Torricelli Amendment. Al Qaeda is NOT a country they hold themselves to NO standards of decency they are NOT protected by Geneva or anything else. They have absolutely no rights and ought to be shot when found. the ones that we dont ought to be tortured because these are the sadistic b astards that did attack us and unless we starting playing hardball and killing them in their sleep or helping them to fall off a roof you arent gonna get them down and keep them there. I AM TALKING ABOUT AL QAEDA NOT IRAQI'S THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH AL QAEDA OR 9/11 I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THEM, IRAQ IS TOTAL NON SENSE AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GETTING AL QAEDA.

I'm not necessarily opposed to targeted assassinations against key al qaeda leaders outside the U.S. is easier said than done. I don't think that the CIA, for all their unnamed source criticisms of the military effort, have the capability to carry this out. It will literally take years for them to develop inside intelligence capabilities with Al Qaeda, and they're certainly not there yet.

i know we dont have the capability right now, thats why i said we have to rebuild it, secondly we need to do this with all of them. I think we are already doing this with special ops. forces but we aren't (rightly) being told about it.

that states aren't involved with Al Qaeda. You are correct, Al Qaeda isn't a state, but key states ARE providing Al Qaeda with aid, shelter, funds, weapons, training, etc., and Iraq was one of these.

So, one could never just go after targeted Al Qaeda members, one must also go after those who support them in their existence.
