I agree with this seeing as neither side's claim on the land is exactly upstanding in the face of debate. One side hadn't owned the land in several millenia, and the other never officially did.
I am from Israel, originally. My grandfather who still lives there does a lot of interfaith work there trying to help a solution along. While I visited him last time, a elderly Palestinian man told me "I was Jordanian all my life, and then the Jews want to move in and suddenly I'm Palestinian." That about sums up the Palestinian "cause" for me. It's the anti-Semitism of stronger countries using the Palestinians and Israelis as pawns. I don't believe this struggle has much to do with land. Not anymore, anyway.
