This is an attempt to discredit the letter signed by over 40 Nobel Prize winners, expressing concern over President Bush's "manipulation of american science." Before you call them european socialist pincoe commie liberals, I might want to remind you that more than half of them were american.
Personally, I'm much more likely to trust the word of dozens of the smartest people from the U.S. of A. than I am to trust yours. But that's just me. Hey, I think you're right. The Nobel Committee must be part of this "vast liberal conspiracy" everybody keeps talking about. After all, they gave the Peace Prize to a Irani lawyer who hates the administration, and Jimmy Carter, a liberal democrat. Oh it makes perfect sense now! Possibly the reason why it's democrats who get Nobel Prizes and not Republicans isn't because the committee is biased. Maybe, it's because the Republicans don't have a clue what real science is, and therefore they concoct conspiracy theories to cover up their obvious boneheadedness. |

This just sounds like ugly rantings of conservatives that can't stand the fact that first Jimmy Carter won the Noble Peace Prize and then an environmentalist, knowing full well that the next time a Republican might have a mosquito's eye-blink of a chance of winning will be sometime in the NEXT millinium.

No, I simply think that the person they award a Nobel Peace Prize to should at least sound like a Nobel Prize winner - instead of 2nd Runner-up at the Ms. Tin Foil Hat Conspiracy Theory Pageant. |
