So, even though the Democrats and the Bush administration have decided to move forward on the bailout, it appears that those stubborn House Republicans don't want anything to do with this policy and may still try to block the bailout.

...Or so it seems.

Here is my prediction of GOP spin right now and what will happen over the next few days.

The GOP house members will continue to threaten to stop this bill at any cost. They will beat and badger every part of it, disagreeing and acting as cold as possible towards its passage. Then, in a bold campaign move, John McCain will fly back to Washington, sit in a deeply secret meeting with the house GOP, and 6 hours later they'll come out changed men. Each and every one will step up to the plate and accept the great words of wisdom that McCain will offer.

Economic specialists within the house will attempt to declare (with a straight face) that McCain and his incredible economic wisdom and intelligence showed them the light and unified this country. Financial experts within the house GOP like Peter King, Chris Shays, Spencer Bachus, and Adam Putnam will make it clear that John McCain changed our hearts and minds, and saved this bill, the economy of the US, and even our children and their homes, all by himself. The man is the great uniter and showed that he could reach out to both sides and make a change.

The reality of the events will be
- John McCain flies into Washington following the strict orders of Karl Rove and the rest of the GOP cronies, he goes into a closed door meeting with House Republicans where they sit around, smoke Cigars, drink Cognac and surf the internet for funny YouTube videos of people getting hit with various things in the genitals. Then, after 6 hours and once we get to primetime, they will troop out the political faction of morons and declare the nonsense I wrote of above. In truth, this is been planned for at least the last 5-6 days as McCains one last chance to steal the presidency from Obama. It is complete deception, it has slowed and affected an important bill, and it is simply a political tactic.

Remember, you heard this from the Bomber first. So when you see on the news that McCain is going back to Washington to meet with the GOP reps again, don't be fooled.

lol Yeah, I think that Biden/Obama are the ones watching the Palin interviews working on their Thursday strategy. I can't even imagine them having to stomach watching her statements and then come up with a strategy that doesn't make her look like a 7th grade blond doing the debate against Biden. Seriously, Charlie Gibson, Katie Couric, Sean Hannity and my local weather girl would be better opponents than Palin in the debate. Its going to be sad. Its amazing that the girls on "The View" have more foreign policy experience, and more knowledge of the country and how to lead than Palin does.

Don't think McSame has a strategy/plan. He's doing it on the seat of his pants. Says whatever pops into his dumb lunkhead - like the spending freeze flap.

What did I say, the House Republicans voted down the bill today. Its time for that planned phone call to John McCains office. I wonder if they'll have a mystery recording of that conversation that will 'somehow' leak onto fox news?

House GOP - "John, we NEED you, no one over here can figure out what to do.

John - "Now, just relax, what time is it? OK, I'm coming back to Washington, I've reformed stuff before, and I can do it again. You guys better be ready, I'm gonna kick some ass when I get there, have my camo suit ready when I arrive".

House GOP - "Just be nice to us this time John, don't go too maverick on us. Show us the light, this bailout thingy has all these numbers in it.".

John - "Yeah, I was afraid of that. Fortunately for you my record shows that I've voted for stuff with numbers in it throughout my career. I AM the guy that can handle this. My opponent just doesn't understand all that. Maverick out."

Woo-hoo, can't wait til he saves the day!
