Forget the fact the Reps were covering their asses err jobs, This has to be the lamest argument I've ever heard when it's a bi-partisan bill.

Why would the Dems. rush to pass a bill requested by the Chimp on their own?

LOL... how could have the Dems ramrodded the bill before the changes. With the changes, McCain said it was good to go.

Complete meltdown by rightie posters today.

The dems are writing the bill not Bush. It is by the dems for the dems.
The dems are worried about their own bill causing a mess they won't even sign it.

Well b/c they control Congress and can pass this "crisis" bill with their own votes, b/c they have a majority in Congress already.

The question is... if he expected to receive some credit for his efforts to ensure it's success, should he receive blame for it's failure?
Only if you know enough about the bill to know that passing it in its original format would have caused more problems that it would have resolved. Otherwise you don't really know enough to have an opinion that anyone cares about.

Do you have any proof of this or are you just typing to see yourself type? This bill failed in the House and not the Senate. So what would Obama need to do now? Oh and where is McCain? On The campaign trail just like Obama.

McCain didn't vote on anything, this was a house bill. While McCain was in DC last week, so was Obama.
