and I just did a google search for it. I knew that Brits had a reputation for not having good oral hygiene, but this is just repulsive!

American politics are no longer just American politics. The policies of which president we pick are going to deeply affect the entire planet, not just America. Despite what nationalists would like you to believe, the effects of what we do don't stay inside some giant wall that surrounds America, and now especially, with the war on terror, the president we choose is going to alter the entire planet. Brits have every right to express their opinion on a matter that is going to affect their lives and lives of everyone else in the world.

You are absolutely right!

As long as the United States are going to police the rest of the world, its hypocrisy to be angered when other citizens of the world voice an opinion, and do what they can to try and make a difference.

Remember, Bush declared a 'Global War on Terror' not the American war on Terror - (eventhough the coalition death toll seems to dictate otherwise...)

Default You have got to be kidding!

How dare you talk about our most valued ally like that! Seriously, what a bunch of hypocrites! If they were trying to back Bush you'd all be peeing your pants with delight saying see see look at what great friends the Brits are! And now that some of their population is telling us that despite what their gov't is doing and saying, they don't all support Bush all you can do is call them limeys and make fun of their dental work or some other eqally lame juvenile comment? I mean I think it is a stupid idea that won't work, but who cares? I wouldn't care if it was Bush they were backing either but to attack their hygiene and basically their way of life when they are predominately our greatest ally in Iraq? Unbelievable!! I'm embarrased for us. It stinks in here!

Right, wrong, whatever. This will help Bush.

I'll start.

This is obviously a repugnican plot. They sent their agent (what's his name tb? Roger Stone?) over to the Guardian to plant this little idea into the editorial staff's brain. The staff thought this to be a great idea, so they set this plan in motion. With the help of Roger, of course. He sold the list of voters to them.

ETA: And I agree, byrdie, it's much more acceptable to bash the stinky cheese eating, no bath taking, surrender monkeys from France.

Blair cant kiss the ass of the US enough, but I criticize him constantly.

He's not representing the will of his people IMO. He makes a mockery of democracy. He makes a Mockracy.

Oh gee, like thanx awfully. Bush or Kerry? How you spoil me for choices, surely a classic case of 'better the retard you know than the retard you dont'.

As for Blair, the man has all the backbone of a jellyfish. Wheres a 'Thatcher' when you need one?
